NZ House & Garden – March 2009

The term “wholesome takeaway meals’ is no longer an oxymoron. The Remuera set has been enjoying such fare locally for the last couple of years.

Somewhat under the mainstream radar, Madame Jojo’s dishes up lasagne, shepherd’s pie, chicken burritos and other comfort foods to go. A rotating menu of dinners such as pork belly and sausages with mash, is also on offer. Add a tub of salad, some chocolate mousse and you have a bona fide, home-cooked meal with no mess or fuss and no actual home cooking.
